Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me..."
Matthew 19:14
Who We Are
We love kids and we believe that they are a vital part of the Church!! Our greatest desire is for our kids to learn the Bible and grow in a relationship with the Lord. We believe that as they grow in their faith, they will impact our world for Jesus Christ, as we are all called to fulfill the great commission (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8).
Every Sunday, our serve team members work hard to create a safe and practical learning experience for your children for ages up to age 10 (Preschool-5th Grade). Here are a few helpful things to know to help us make their time in the Calvary Kids great!
Every Sunday, our serve team members work hard to create a safe and practical learning experience for your children for ages up to age 10 (Preschool-5th Grade). Here are a few helpful things to know to help us make their time in the Calvary Kids great!
- We have kids in with the adults for worship in the main service, and then after worship the kids are dismissed to Sunday School. On your way into the main service, the Children's Ministry leaders will help you sign-in your kids and explain the procedures so that when they are dismissed after worship, they can go with the teacher straight to the classroom. The Sunday School room for the younger kids (PreK-2nd) and nursery is at the front of the building by the Main Lobby across from the Gym, and the Sunday School room for the older kids (3rd-5th) is directly across the hall from the main worship service room.
- Security is extremely important to us. We require all children to check-in before entering Calvary Kids. The parent that Signs-In their child must be the same parent that Signs-Out. This policy is strictly enforced. Also, our Security Team helps the teachers escort the children to their classrooms after worship.
- Screening for all Calvary Kids volunteers includes a criminal background check, training, and interviews by our leadership team.
- It is important to inform us of any allergies or health concerns your child has. Inform us of these when checking in your child for the first time.
