THE VISION
Our Meal Ministry is meant to help provide meals when someone in the church is recovering from illness or injury, have a new baby, or just in a season where we can show a little extra care and support. This can also be an opportunity to just lend a helping hand by picking up some necessities at the grocery store, prescription at the pharmacy, or a ride to church or the doctor's office.
The meal planning is done by using the Meal Train website which shows who the need is for, dates meals are needed, their food preferences and allergies, and who has signed up for supplying a meal along what they are bringing. This eliminates duplication and helps everyone to see what days are open and sign up to help out. We want to make it as simple and easy as possible, so if you are unable to cook, there are convenient options for food delivery with services such as Grub Hub, Door Dash, or Uber Eats. Or you can just pick up a meal such as a rotisserie chicken from the store, grab a meal from Chick-fil-A or In 'N Out, or drop off a gift card to somewhere. Kids always enjoy a pizza, burgers, or a rotisserie chicken!
If you have the gift of helps (1 Cor. 12:28), or just want an opportunity to bless someone in our church family, just sign up below and get the process started!
